English – Word of the Day :
To help children improve vocabulary a new word is put on the Notice Board along with its meaning synonym and usage. Learning new words is important part of learning language. The more words children know, the more they will be able to understand what they hear and read. The English language has so much to offer and it would be a shame if we don’t have ways and means to learn. Learning new words is about expressing oneself more clearly, and with more precision. Moreover, having a vast vocabulary will allow one, to understand the world around us, to read between few lines and to question what others have to say. Words become tools for thinking. Important thought processes require more precise expression.

Bulletin Boards – Making Learning Visible
Bulletin Boards are visible masterpieces that capture students attention. They serve as a focal point for key information and can bring abstract concepts of life. The colourful graphics, images and diagrams make complex topics more accessible by giving constant reminders.
We at Shree Gattu Vidyalaya keep the students abreast of various concepts – academics, national & international updates, inventions, celebrations etc. Preparation of the Bulletin Boards is done by the students during school hours. The idea behind the activity is to foster their creativity, critical thinking, presentation skills, team work, active involvement and make learning enjoyable.
In today’s techno-savvy world, the humble bulletin board continues to stand as a testament to the enduring power of visual and interactive learning.
Hi! I am Anshika from 12th std.
Sharing something.........
I was born in a family with a traditional mindset. My parents want me to study hard and
be successful in life. But just because I am a girl, somewhere in the corner of the heart,
lies a feeling unexplained. Comparatively a son would be the one to bring them to the
social good books. This thought, the gap, which always kept me at the backfoot was
filled up by my school - Shree Gattu Vidyalaya. My teachers- my mentors made me feel
proud as a girl. They polished the inner me, my talents, not as a girl but as an individual
who has a specific place in the society. The change in me has transformed my parents and
now they stand by my side, motivating and feeling proud of me as a GIRL.
A memorable journey....
In the journey from student to success, it's clear that the school plays a fundamental role.
The supportive environment, dedicated educators, resources and value based education
provided by the school, have all contributed in shaping me into a person I am today.
I got admitted to Shree Gattu Vidyalaya as a little child with my teachers holding my
hands. Today I am Ayush, a proud school topper in the S.S.C and hoping for the same in
H.S.C, with a good score of 90.96%ile in the JEE.
My journey in the school has been not only of acquiring knowledge but as an individual I
feel groomed up completely by my educators and facilitators. It has been a long
memorable journey of success and will always be cherished throughout my life. Many
stories will always remain in the heart to pass on to the generations to come.
