School Infrastructure

To enable students to pursue individual and team efforts, there is basket ball court and ample ground for foot ball and cricket. Students can practice and engage in friendly matches fostering
team work and sportsman ship.

Spanning over 44 glorious years and having achieved many milestones SGV, nurtures students with strength, courage, resilience and confidence to face the world. It aims to groom students and give them wings to fly and achieve limitless possibilities in life.

School Infrastructure

As soon as the society was registered in 1983, construction of new building was planned. In 1984, GIDC provided 20,000 Sq. Mtrs of land at free of cost for school building. At same time Asian Paints(I)Ltd, agreed to give donation for construction of new school building. The school was named as “Shree Gattu Vidyalaya” in appreciation of contribution made by Asian Paints(I) Ltd. The first phase of the new building was completed in June,1986 and the school shifted to the new premise from 1- July,1986. Today the school is well equipped with modern and full furnished classes.

Since then the school has grown up from strength to strength. A separate wing of K.G. section was added in June,1989 and a separate building for Secondary and Higher Secondary was put up by July,1993. An Activity Center was constructed in March-1997.

School’s physical facilities now consists of 38 class rooms with a separate building providing Kitchen and dining facilities, well designed Science Laboratories, Library and reading room, Art room, Audio-visual center, computer laboratory, assembly hall and sports fields. In July, 2009 new building for K.G. and Primary Section was constructed. In June-2009. The new IT section and the Language lab, Smart Class were added in year August-2010. In March-2012, fully equiped withe interactive board the Maths lab was opened for the students The year 2012 is being celebrated as the “year of Maths”.

School Campus

The two libraries work complement each other in order to expand the horizons of students and to develop reading and Knowledge exploration habits.

There is something very distinct about the institution and you realize this as soon as you enter the campus. The state of the art architecture, splendid infrastructure and latest technology are but one side of the coin. For a matchless perfection on the other side of the coin is commitment of management and faculty that goes beyond ensuring academic excellence. Systems and processes are in place, and so are rules and regulations, yet the air is full of liberty. The Primary section

The philosophy of kindergarten is carried forward through a program of learning that enhances the observation and creative abilities of the learners.

Secondary Section

In the Senior Secondary School the focus is on specialization and moving ahead to strengthen the understanding of specialized fields at a deeper level.

Laboratories

There are fully equipped science, mathematics, information and communication Labs.(ICT).

Higher Secondary Section

The school offers self curated platforms for self expression and self reflection nurturing self evolved independent learners aware of the world around them.

School Library And Digital Library

In the Middle School Years self-reliance in learning becomes an important focus. The curriculum incorporates social studies and science in addition to the subjects taught earlier. Attention is given to the requisite level in each subject by defining the attainment standards. Collaborative learning is a regular feature at this stage, as children learn to work together, as well as independently. Children learn to set goals and have long-term objectives.
